Catholic Homeschooling: The Real-life Adventure

Overcoming the Hurdles of Homeschooling
Some of the toughest hurdles in homeschooling can be corrected with calm and confident parenting. This talk offers some insight into just what might be holding us back and how some easy, common sense adjustments will make all the difference.

One Small Step for Parents, One Giant Leap for Homeschool Kids
Homeschool parents are often challenged to teach science to their older students with just textbooks, expecially if students have a preference to the “learn by doing” approach. One such challenge comes when parents don’t have a strong background in science to help create activties that reinforce textbook lessons. This talk will show how some new technologies and resources can provide students with incredible hands-on learning opportunities, as well as provide some amazing success stories.
