Homeschool Socialization: Debunking the Myth
A light-hearted but factual look at the real way that homeschooling properly socializes children to function as well-rounded, moral adults. Mrs. Barrett offers encouragement and advice about how socialization really works in the Catholic homeschool.

Gary will share some of the techniques that he and his wife Eileen use to combat the anxiety of the homeschooling experience. They know first hand that a strong faith plays a big part in a peaceful homeschooling experience. Drawing from his best-selling book, A Worrier’s Guide to the Bible, you’ll find that it is possible not to worry…even if you’re homeschooling!

An atmosphere of love, learning, and levity can change the whole game in your homeschool. Mary Ellen will share tips on how to create an atmosphere that encourages discipline, enjoyment, love of faith and family, in which the children will come to love learning.

One of the biggest challenges facing homeschooling parents is the feeling that they aren’t doing enough for their children. When is it time to step back and let the Lord take over? In this talk, Gary will offer practical advice for learning how to do your best and then let God do the rest!
