1) Help by emailing your parish (and perhaps other nearby parishes) to see if they can include an announcement about the conference in their weekly bulletin. We have provided the text for such an announcement below. All you need to do is copy it into an email and send it to your parish office.
Catholic Homeschool Conference – July 31 & August 1, 2015
The Immaculate Heart of Mary New York Homeschool Conference will be held at Mercy College (Rotonda), 555 Broadway, in Dobbs Ferry, on Friday, July 31 (12:00pm – 6:00pm) and on Saturday, August 1 (9:30am – 3:30pm). Confirmed speakers include: Dr. Ray Guarendi, Mrs. Colleen Billing, Mrs. Michele Quigley, Mr. Tony Schiavo, Mrs. Virginia Seuffert, and Mr. Gary Zimak! 2) Help by volunteering to work at the conference. We usually need several volunteers to help us at our Registration Table. The work is very light, but very important. Although we do not charge admission at our conferences, it is important for us to have attendees sign in so that we can let them know about future conferences. We also have name tags for attendees to fill out and if they have not brought a copy of the schedule with them, we need to provide it.
Below we have a volunteer schedule, and if you are available to volunteer for one of the shifts, we would be most appreciative! We would like to have two people signed up for the first shift because that is when most of the attendees arrive. Please include in the email your name and phone number (cell phone preferred).

3) Our conferences are free to attend, but obviously they are not free to put on. IHM Conferences require your financial assistance to operate. If you are able to make a donation toward the conference, that would help ensure that these conferences can continue in the future.
Conscious of keeping our spending to a minimum while still providing the highest quality conferences we can, our costs are not huge (so your donation goes a long way). Your donation will help us defray the most significant costs of running a conference which are the facility rental (except in rare cases where we are able to get a free facility), speaker travel and honorariums, and promotion. (Our speakers believe strongly in our mission and give us staggering discounts compared with their usual speaking fees. When you speak with them at the conferences, please let them know how much you appreciate them!) The chart on the right shows the average breakdown of our costs (and where your donation goes).
