Fr. Brendan Gibson
Dr. Ray Guarendi is a homeschooling father, clinical psychologist, author, public speaker and a radio host. His experience includes school districts, Head Start programs, mental health centers, substance abuse programs, inpatient psychiatric centers, juvenile courts, and a private practice.

Dr. Guarendi has been a regular guest on national radio and television, including Oprah, Joan Rivers, Scott Ross Prime Time, 700 Club, Gordon Elliot, and CBS This Morning. He’s appeared on regional radio and television shows in over 40 states and Canada. He has been the program psychologist for Cleveland’s Morning Exchange, Pittsburgh 2-Day, and AM Indiana. He has written several books, including You’re a Better Parent Than You Think!, Back to the Family and Discipline That Lasts a Lifetime.
Billing webMrs. Colleen Billing is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Interpersonal Communication and a minor in the teaching of English. After teaching high school Speech and English for several years in the city of Chicago, she retired to start her family, and is currently in her 14th year of homeschooling her own 5 children.

One of Colleen’s life-long dreams of helping others live a peaceful, clutter-free life, was realized in 2006 when she started her own professional organizing business called, Peaceful Interiors. In addition to helping people organize their homes, Colleen is also a National Conference Speaker who encourages thousands of parents all over the country, and gives tips for organizing every area of their homes and lives. She has also served as a retreat master, workshop organizer, radio-guest on several national radio programs, and has been featured in multiple video episodes for ‘Women’s Forum’, an online community for women featuring tips on parenting, living a healthy lifestyle, and getting organized!.

Colleen has been married to her husband Andrew for 22 years, and they are both permanently professed members of the Franciscan-based community, the Brothers and Sisters of Charity.
Everett webMr. Everett Buyarski is the Academic Department Director for Kolbe Academy. He grew up in Southeast Alaska, and received his BA in Philosophy from Gonzaga University. While at Gonzaga he spent two years in the college seminary and successfully discerned that he was not called to the priesthood. Before starting with Kolbe in 2008; he taught high school math and science in rural Idaho.

In addition to managing the academic department at Kolbe, Everett also handles advising in the areas of theology, math, and science, and teaches 10th grade theology online. Everett speaks on a variety of topics, including Faith & Reason, Science Education, Social Justice, the Principle of Subsidiarity, and Sacramental Theology. Everett and his wife Melissa have 3 young boys, and live in American Canyon, CA.
Mrs. Colleen Hammond is the author of Dressing with Dignity, and was a former On-Camera Meteorologist for The Weather Channel, a model, actress and Miss Michigan National Teen-Ager. Colleen lived the “American Dream” and found it to be a nightmare! While working in television, she reverted to the Catholic Faith. The moment their first baby was born, Colleen “saw the light” and abandoned her highly successful career in television to become a stay-at-home-mother. Currently heard as a host of “St. Joseph Radio Presents”—available to 85 million people worldwide on WEWN—Colleen has also been asked to host a television talk show in Dallas, which may soon be syndicated.

Colleen is an award-winning writer, radio and television talk show host, educator, comedienne, and mother—all rolled into one! Acclaimed for her versatility, she delivers an enduring message filled with down-to-earth wisdom, inspiration, and humor. Colleen brings a fresh and creative approach to living joyfully, and has helped thousands of people every year to make positive and virtuous changes in their lives. A frequent speaker at conferences, retreats, and parish events, Colleen addresses such timely issues as marriage, children, family, and values and virtues. Colleen, her husband, and their four children currently reside in North Texas.
Mrs. Virginia (Ginny) Seuffert, a native New Yorker and mother of 12, has been homeschooling for over 20 years! While in New York, Mrs. Seuffert lectured, debated, and wrote a number of articles for the Pro-Life movement. After moving to Illinois, she became a founding member of the Network of Illinois Catholic Home Educators, helped establish the “Round Table” (a Catholic home school leadership discussion group), and became a founder and officer of the Catholic Home School Network of America.

In addition to appearing on EWTN, she has been a guest on numerous radio shows, lectured at Catholic family conferences all over the United States and Canada, and has authored several articles on such topics as home education, teaching children the virtues, and household management. The Illinois Press Association awarded her first place honors for a column she wrote defending traditional family values in a local newspaper. The Seton Home Study School Newsletter regularly features her columns, and recently Seton Press published her first two books of a series, Ginny’s Gems: Home Management Essentials and Ginny’s Gems: 10 Essentials for Teaching Your Preschooler at Home.
